The Treatment Project
10:00 am - 12:00 pm - Treatment Seminar
Writers and aspiring writers will participate in a seminar where they will learn the formula for writing a proper and effective treatment. Writers who have treatments and would like feedback and guidance will also have the opportunity to be chosen for in-depth critique with WGA writers and professional filmmakers. Five lucky winners will be chosen to participate in these one-on-one sessions. Winners will be announced at the end of the seminar. For a chance to participate in the one-on-one sessions, please submit your treatment by August 31 to TheTreatmentProject@gmail.com. TREATMENTS MUST BE NO LONGER THAN 3 PAGES. Treatments are not required for participation in the seminar.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 24
Pitch to Producers
10:00 am - 12:00 pm – Filmmakers and aspiring filmmakers who want to know the do's and don'ts for pitching a project will learn how to effectively pitch their projects to producers and investors. Professional producers and other filmmakers will provide valuable information that will help take a project to the next level. At the end of the seminar, five lucky filmmakers will be chosen to participate in one-on-one sessions with producers to get feedback on their project, but also to have an opportunity to get their project picked up.
12:00 - 1:00 pm – Break for lunch
1:00 - 3:00 pm – Five lucky filmmakers will participate in one-on-one sessions with professional, working producers and other filmmakers who can help them advance their project. Each winner will have 20 minutes.
